Our gospel story s today ( John 21, 1-14) must have taken place at Tabgha, the quiet stretch of wooded land on the Sea of Galilee just south of ancient Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee. Seven springs of water flow into the lake there. Some years ago, during an early morning visit I made to the place, birds were singing in the trees and drinking from the streams of fresh water.


Fishermen would surely draw into Tabgha after a night’s fishing for fresh water from the springs and maybe fry some fish over a fire on the beach. It’s a likely place where Jesus would meet with his disciples. Two ancient churches are on the site. He met his disciples here after his resurrection, tradition says. Peter and the others returned to Galilee after the Lord’s death and resurrection and went fishing, John’s gospel says. They caught nothing through the night, but at dawn they heard a call from the shore to cast out their nets again. “… Jesus was standing on the shore; but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.” They caught a large catch– 153 fish. Jesus then called from the shore to come eat some fish at a fire he had started and he gave them bread and some fish to eat and revealed himself to them. Peter figures prominently in this story. He jumped into the water to get to the shore. Then after they ate, Jesus took him aside and asks the disciple who denied him three times, “Do you love me?” Three times the apostle cursed and swore he did not know Jesus. Three times he answers “Yes, I do. I love you.” And Jesus tells him “Feed my lambs. Feed my sheep.” Peter isn’t alone in this encounter, the other disciples and all of us are with him. A statue at Tabgha marks that beautiful meeting, an example of God’s forgiveness! No scolding words or recriminations. No “I told you so.” No warning, “You do that again and …” No demotion, no putting on parole. Rather, Jesus gives Peter new responsibility. “Feed my lambs” as I do. God’s mercy does not take away, but gives more. Tabgha– the memory of Jesus lingers at this lovely place besides the Sea of Galilee. Jesus, risen, brings us mercy and a mission. The church and rock table at Tagbha No demotion, Jesus wishes only to promote us! Mercy upon mission as each one of us go out into the deep! In that church in Tabgha Orlando and I witnessed a group of Hispanics renewing their vows to our Lord Jesus. Each was asked ”Do you love me?” . All were saying yes ! Many were down on their knees crying. It was a beautiful and very touching scene. I told Him that day how much I loved Him. I try to tell Him every day! Jesus I love You!!!! Jesus understands our needs. He began the first B&B: beach and breakfast.

And at these words He opened their minds, and they knew Him, and understood the sayings of the Scriptures concerning His Passion, Death, and Resurrection on the third day. Having thus instructed them, He said again: . “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you, in order that you may teach the world the knowledge of the truth, of God and of eternal life, preaching repentance of sins and forgiveness of them in my name.” . Breathing upon them, He added and said: . “Receive ye the Holy Ghost, in order that the sins which you forgive may be forgiven, and those which you do not forgive, may not be forgiven. Preach ye to all nations beginning in Jerusalem.” Then the Savior, having thus consoled and confirmed them in faith, and having given them and all priests the power to forgive sins, disappeared from their midst.” . 3 april Vår Herres uppenbarelse för Vår Fru och apostlarna i det övre rummet, åtta dagar efter hans uppståndelse. . – Herr talman, "När Tomas hade gått och dörrarna hade låsts, kom Herren in och visade sig för de andra. Mitt ibland dem hälsade han dem och sade: "Frid vare med er. Det är jag; frukta inte." . – Herr talman, Vid denna plötsliga uppenbarelse fruktade apostlarna att det de såg var ett spöke eller en vålnad, och Herren tillade: "Varför är ni bekymrade, och varför uppstår tankar i era hjärtan? Se mina händer och fötter, att det är Jag Själv; Ty en ande har inget kött och inga ben, som ni ser att jag har." . – Herr talman, Apostlarna var så upphetsade och förvirrade att fastän de såg honom och rörde vid Frälsarens sårade händer, kunde de inte inse att det var honom de talade till och som de rörde vid. För att försäkra dem ännu mer sade den kärleksfulle Mästaren till dem: "Ge mig att äta, om du har något." . – Herr talman, Glatt erbjöd de honom lite stekt fisk och en honungskaka. Han åt en del av dessa och delade resten mellan dem och sade: "Vet ni inte att allt som har hänt med mig är detsamma som har skrivits av Mose och profeterna, i Psaltaren och den heliga Skrift, och att allt nödvändigtvis måste fullbordas i Mig så som det har blivit profeterat?" . – Herr talman, Och vid dessa ord öppnade han deras sinnen, och de kände honom och förstod skrifternas ord om hans lidande, död och uppståndelse på tredje dagen. Efter att ha instruerat dem på detta sätt sade Han igen: "Frid vare med dig. Så som Fadern har sänt mig, så sänder jag er, för att ni skall undervisa världen om sanningen, om Gud och om det eviga livet, och predika syndernas omvändelse och förlåtelse för dem i mitt namn." . – Herr talman, Han andades på dem, tillade och sade: "Ta emot den Helige Anden, så att de synder som ni förlåter blir förlåtna och de som ni inte förlåter inte blir förlåtna. Predika för alla folk med början i Jerusalem." Den 6 april 2024, lördag lördag i påskoktaven Dagens bön: Gud, du låter nåden flöda över dem som tror på dig. Vänd blicken till ditt älskade folk, och låt var och en som föds på nytt i dopet bli klädd i odödlighet. Läsningar: Apg 4:13-21, Ps 118, Mark 16:9-15 Första läsningen Apg 4:13–21 (Vi kan inte tiga med vad vi har sett och hört) Läsning ur Apostlagärningarna. När de äldste och skriftlärda såg hur frimodiga Petrus och Johannes var och märkte att båda var enkla och olärda män, förvånade de sig. De kände igen dem som följeslagare till Jesus, och när de såg mannen som hade blivit botad stå där tillsammans med dem, blev de svarslösa. De befallde dem att vänta utanför rådet och överlade sedan med varandra. »Vad skall vi göra med de här människorna? Att ett märkligt tecken har skett genom dem är uppenbart för hela Jerusalem, och vi kan inte förneka det. Men för att ryktet inte skall spridas ännu mer bland folket, måste vi varna dem för att hädanefter tala till någon i det namnet.« De kallade in dem och sade åt dem att aldrig tala eller undervisa i Jesu namn. Men Petrus och Johannes svarade dem: »Tänk efter själva om det är rätt inför Gud att lyda er mer än honom. Vi kan inte tiga med vad vi har sett och hört.« Då gav de dem en ny sträng varning men släppte dem sedan. För folkets skull såg de ingen möjlighet att straffa dem; alla prisade ju Gud för vad som hade skett. Så lyder Herrens ord. Responsoriepsalm Ps 118:1, 14–21 (R. 21a) R. Jag tackar dig för att du svarade mig. Tacka Herren, ty han är god, evigt varar hans nåd. Herren är min styrka och min lovsång, han blev min räddning. R. Evangelium Mark 16:9–15 (Gå ut överallt i världen och förkunna evangeliet) Läsning ur det heliga evangeliet enligt Markus. När Jesus hade uppstått på morgonen efter sabbaten, visade han sig först för Maria från Magdala, från vilken han hade drivit ut sju demoner. Hon gav sig i väg och berättade det för dem som varit tillsammans med honom och som nu sörjde och grät. När de fick höra att han levde och att hon hade sett honom, trodde de inte på det. Därefter visade han sig i annan skepnad för två av dem medan de var på väg ut på landet. Också de gick bort och berättade det för de andra, men inte heller de blev trodda. Sedan visade han sig också för de elva medan de låg till bords, och han förebrådde dem deras otro och halsstarrighet, då de inte hade trott på dem som sett honom uppstånden. Han sade till dem: »Gå ut överallt i världen och förkunna evangeliet för hela skapelsen.« Så lyder Herrens evangelium.

(Mk 16,9-15) Dok čitam današnje Evanđelje, čudi me što baš apostoli ne vjeruju u navještaj Uskrsnuća koji im nose dvije žene i dva učenika. Što bi ti rekao kad bi rekao svom svećeniku: „Oče, susreo sam Krista. Uistinu je uskrsnuo!“, a on bi ti odgovorio: „Ne pričaj mi gluposti“? Dobro, mogao bi ti neki svećenik reći da ne vjeruje. Veliki švicarski teolog imena Hans Kung, prijatelj Benedikta XVI., nakon što je napisao predivne knjige o Isusu Kristu i Crkvi, zbog činjenice da nije postao Biskup Crkve napisao je sve suprotno od onoga što je bio napisao u prethodnim knjigama. Ponos i taština su djeca oholosti. Htio bih reći ovo: često susrećemo gorljivije kršćane van župe nego među onima koji su revni u župnom životu. Saint of the Day St. Crescentia Hoess Lived: (1682-1744) | Feast Day: Crescentia was born in 1682 in a little town near Augsburg, the daughter of a poor weaver. She spent play time praying in the parish church, assisted those even poorer than herself and had so mastered the truths of her religion that she was permitted to make her holy Communion at the then unusually early age of seven. In the town she was called "the little angel." As she grew older she desired to enter the convent of the Tertiaries of St. Francis. But the convent was poor and, because Crescentia had no dowry, the superiors refused her admission. Her case was then pleaded by the Protestant mayor of the town to whom the convent owed a favor. The community felt it was forced into receiving her, and her new life was made miserable. She was considered a burden and assigned nothing other than menial tasks. Even her cheerful spirit was misinterpreted as flattery or hypocrisy. Conditions improved four years later when a new superior was elected who realized her virtue. Crescentia herself was appointed mistress of novices. She so won the love and respect of the sisters that, upon the death of the superior, Crescentia herself was unanimously elected to that position. Under her the financial state of the convent improved and her reputation in spiritual matters spread. She was soon being consulted by princes and princesses as well as by bishops and cardinals seeking her advice. And yet, a true daughter of Francis, she remained ever humble. Bodily afflictions and pain were always with her. First it was headaches and toothaches. Then she lost the ability to walk, her hands and feet gradually becoming so crippled that her body curled up into a fetal position. In the spirit of Francis she cried out, "Oh, you bodily members, praise God that he has given you the capacity to suffer." Despite her sufferings she was filled with peace and joy as she died on Easter Sunday in 1744. She was beatified in 1900 and canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2001. Comment: Although she grew up in poverty and willingly embraced it in her vocation, Crescentia had a good head for business. Under her able administration, her convent regained financial stability. Too often we think of good money management as, at best, a less-than-holy gift. But Crescentia was wise enough to balance her worldly skills with such acumen in spiritual matters that heads of State and Church both sought her advice

Läsningar: Apg 4:13-21, Ps 118, Mark 16:9-15 Första läsningen Apg 4:13–21 (Vi kan inte tiga med vad vi har sett och hört) Läsning ur Apostlagärningarna. När de äldste och skriftlärda såg hur frimodiga Petrus och Johannes var och märkte att båda var enkla och olärda män, förvånade de sig. De kände igen dem som följeslagare till Jesus, och när de såg mannen som hade blivit botad stå där tillsammans med dem, blev de svarslösa. De befallde dem att vänta utanför rådet och överlade sedan med varandra. »Vad skall vi göra med de här människorna? Att ett märkligt tecken har skett genom dem är uppenbart för hela Jerusalem, och vi kan inte förneka det. Men för att ryktet inte skall spridas ännu mer bland folket, måste vi varna dem för att hädanefter tala till någon i det namnet.« De kallade in dem och sade åt dem att aldrig tala eller undervisa i Jesu namn. Men Petrus och Johannes svarade dem: »Tänk efter själva om det är rätt inför Gud att lyda er mer än honom. Vi kan inte tiga med vad vi har sett och hört.« Då gav de dem en ny sträng varning men släppte dem sedan. För folkets skull såg de ingen möjlighet att straffa dem; alla prisade ju Gud för vad som hade skett. Så lyder Herrens ord.

Apostlagärningarna 4 Svenska Folkbibeln 2015 Inför Stora rådet 4 Medan de talade till folket kom prästerna, tempelvaktens ledare och saddukeerna emot dem, 2 upprörda över att de undervisade folket och i Jesus predikade uppståndelsen[a] från de döda. 3 De grep dem och höll dem fängslade till nästa dag, eftersom det redan var kväll. 4 Men många av dem som hade hört ordet kom till tro, och antalet män var nu omkring fem tusen. 5 Nästa dag samlades Stora rådet i Jerusalem, både äldste och skriftlärda. 6 Översteprästen Hannas var där liksom Kaifas, Johannes[b] och Alexander och alla som var av översteprästerlig släkt. 7 De lät föra fram apostlarna och började förhöra dem: "Genom vilken kraft eller i vilket namn har ni gjort detta?" 8 Då uppfylldes Petrus av den helige Ande och svarade dem: "Rådsherrar och äldste för vårt folk! 9 Om vi står till svars i dag för en välgärning mot en sjuk man och ska förklara hur han blev botad, 10 så ska ni alla och hela Israels folk veta att han står frisk framför er i kraft av Jesu Kristi nasaréns namn. Ni korsfäste honom, men Gud har uppväckt honom från de döda. 11 Jesus är stenen som ni byggnadsarbetare förkastade men som har blivit en hörnsten.[c] 12 Hos ingen annan finns frälsningen, och under himlen finns inget annat namn som människor fått genom vilket vi blir frälsta." 13 När de såg hur frimodiga Petrus och Johannes var och märkte att de var olärda män ur folket, blev de förvånade. Men så kände de igen dem och kom ihåg att de hade varit med Jesus. 14 Och när de såg mannen som blivit botad stå där tillsammans med dem, blev de svarslösa. 15 De befallde dem att lämna rådssalen och överlade sedan med varandra. 16 De sade: "Vad ska vi göra med dessa människor? Att det har hänt ett märkligt tecken genom dem är uppenbart för alla som bor i Jerusalem, och det kan vi inte förneka. 17 Men för att det inte ska sprida sig ännu mer bland folket bör vi varna dem så att de aldrig mer talar till någon människa i det namnet." 18 De kallade in dem och förbjöd dem att alls tala eller undervisa i Jesu namn. 19 Men Petrus och Johannes svarade dem: "Bedöm själva om det är rätt inför Gud att lyda er och inte Gud. 20 Vi för vår del kan inte hålla tyst med vad vi har sett och hört." 21 Då hotade de dem igen men lät dem sedan gå. För folkets skull kunde de inte komma på något bra sätt att straffa dem, eftersom alla prisade Gud för det som hade hänt. 22 Mannen som blev botad genom tecknet var ju över fyrtio år. Bön i förföljelsetid 23 När de blivit frisläppta gick de till sina egna och berättade allt vad översteprästerna och de äldste hade sagt till dem. 24 När de hörde det, ropade de tillsammans till Gud och bad: "Herre, du som gjort himmel och jord och hav och allt som finns i dem,[d] 25 du har genom den helige Ande talat genom vår fader David, din tjänare: Varför rasar hednafolken, varför tänker folken tomma tankar?[e] 26 Jordens kungar reser sig och furstarna gaddar ihop sig mot Herren och hans Smorde[f]. 27 Ja, de gaddade verkligen ihop sig i denna stad mot din helige tjänare Jesus som du har smort. Herodes och Pontius Pilatus gick samman med hedningarna och Israels stammar 28 för att utföra det som du med din hand och ditt beslut hade förutbestämt. 29 Och nu, Herre, se hur de hotar oss! Hjälp dina tjänare att frimodigt förkunna ditt ord, 30 genom att du räcker ut din hand och låter helande, tecken och under ske genom din helige tjänare Jesu namn." 31 När de hade bett skakades platsen där de var samlade, och de uppfylldes alla av den helige Ande och förkunnade Guds ord med frimodighet. Ett hjärta och en själ 32 Hela skaran av dem som kommit till tro var ett hjärta och en själ, och ingen kallade något av det han ägde för sitt utan de hade allt gemensamt. 33 Med stor kraft bar apostlarna fram vittnesbördet om Herren Jesu uppståndelse, och stor nåd var över dem alla. 34 Ingen av dem led någon brist, för alla som hade mark eller hus sålde sådant som de ägde och bar fram betalningen för det som sålts 35 och lade ner det vid apostlarnas fötter. Och man delade ut åt var och en efter hans behov. 36 Även Josef, en levit född på Cypern som apostlarna kallade Barnabas[g] (det betyder Tröstens son), 37 hade en åker. Han sålde den och bar fram pengarna och lade dem vid apostlarnas fötter. JOHANNESEVANGELIET 4 Jesus och den samariska kvinnan 1När Jesus förstod att fariseerna hade fått höra att han vann fler lärjungar än Johannes och döpte fler — 2det var dock inte Jesus själv som döpte, utan hans lärjungar — 3lämnade han Judeen och begav sig på nytt till Galileen. 4Han måste ta vägen genom Samarien 5och kom där till en stad som hette Sykar, inte långt från den mark som Jakob gav sin son Josef. 6Där fanns Jakobs källa. Jesus, som var trött efter vandringen, satte sig ner vid källan. Det var mitt på dagen. 7En samarisk kvinna kom för att hämta vatten. Jesus sade till henne: »Ge mig något att dricka.« 8Lärjungarna hade nämligen gått bort till staden för att köpa mat. 9Samariskan sade: »Hur kan du, som är jude, be mig om vatten? Jag är ju en samarisk kvinna.« (Judarna vill inte ha något med samarierna att göra.) 10Jesus svarade henne: »Om du visste vad Gud har att ge och vem det är som säger till dig: Ge mig något att dricka, då skulle du ha bett honom, och han skulle ha gett dig levande vatten.« 11Kvinnan sade: »Herre, du har inget att hämta upp det med och brunnen är djup. Varifrån tar du då det levande vattnet? 12Skulle du vara större än vår fader Jakob som gav oss brunnen och själv drack ur den, liksom hans söner och hans boskap?« 13Jesus svarade: »Den som dricker av det här vattnet blir törstig igen. 14Men den som dricker av det vatten jag ger honom blir aldrig mer törstig. Det vatten jag ger blir en källa i honom, med ett flöde som ger evigt liv.« 15Kvinnan sade till honom: »Herre, ge mig det vattnet, så att jag aldrig blir törstig och behöver gå hit efter vatten.« 16Jesus sade: »Gå och hämta din man.« 17Kvinnan svarade: »Jag har ingen man.« Jesus sade: »Du har rätt när du säger att du inte har någon man. 18Fem män har du haft, och den du nu har är inte din man. Där talade du sanning.« 19Kvinnan sade: »Herre, jag ser att du är en profet. 20Våra fäder har tillbett Gud på det här berget, men ni säger att platsen där man skall tillbe honom finns i Jerusalem.« 21Jesus svarade: »Tro mig, kvinna, den tid kommer då det varken är på det här berget eller i Jerusalem som ni skall tillbe Fadern. 22Ni tillber det som ni inte känner till. Vi tillber det vi känner till, eftersom frälsningen kommer från judarna. 23Men den tid kommer, ja, den är redan här, då alla sanna gudstillbedjare skall tillbe Fadern i ande och sanning. Ty så vill Fadern att man skall tillbe honom. 24Gud är ande, och de som tillber honom måste tillbe i ande och sanning.« 25Kvinnan sade: »Jag vet att Messias kommer« (alltså den Smorde) »och när han kommer skall han låta oss veta allt.« 26Jesus sade till henne: »Det är jag, den som talar till dig.« 27I detsamma kom lärjungarna. De blev förvånade över att han talade med en kvinna, men ingen frågade vad han ville henne eller varför han talade med henne. 28Kvinnan lät sin vattenkruka stå och gick bort till staden och sade till folket där: 29»Kom så får ni se en man som har sagt mig allt som jag har gjort. Kan han vara Messias?« 30De gick ut ur staden för att söka upp honom. 31Under tiden sade lärjungarna till honom: »Rabbi, kom och ät.« 32Han svarade: »Jag har mat att äta som ni inte känner till.« 33Lärjungarna sade då till varandra: »Kan någon ha kommit med mat till honom?« 34Jesus sade: »Min mat är att göra hans vilja som har sänt mig och att fullborda hans verk. 35Ni säger: fyra månader till, så är det dags att skörda. Men jag säger er: lyft blicken och se hur fälten redan har vitnat till skörd. 36Den som skördar får sin lön, han bärgar grödan till evigt liv, så att den som sått och den som skördar kan glädja sig tillsammans. 37Här gäller ju ordet att en sår och en annan skördar. 38Jag har sänt er att skörda där ni inte behövt arbeta. Andra har arbetat, och ni får lönen för deras möda.« 39Många samarier från den staden hade kommit till tro på honom genom kvinnans ord när hon försäkrade: »Han har sagt mig allt som jag har gjort.« 40När samarierna kom till honom bad de honom stanna hos dem, och han stannade där två dagar. 41Många fler kom till tro genom hans egna ord, 42och de sade till kvinnan: »Nu är det inte längre vad du har sagt som får oss att tro. Vi har själva hört honom och vet att han verkligen är världens frälsare.« En ämbetsmans son botas 43Efter de två dagarna fortsatte Jesus till Galileen. 44Han hade själv vittnat om att en profet inte har något anseende i sin hemtrakt. 45När han nu kom till Galileen blev han väl mottagen, eftersom galileerna hade sett allt han hade gjort i Jerusalem under högtiden. De hade också firat högtiden där. 46Han kom alltså tillbaka till Kana i Galileen, där han hade gjort vattnet till vin. En man i kunglig tjänst hade en son som låg sjuk i Kafarnaum. 47När han fick höra att Jesus hade lämnat Judeen och var i Galileen, sökte han upp honom och bad honom komma ner till Kafarnaum och bota hans son, som låg för döden. 48Jesus sade till honom: »Om ni inte får se tecken och under, så tror ni inte.« 49Ämbetsmannen sade: »Herre, kom innan mitt barn dör.« 50Jesus svarade: »Gå hem, din son lever.« Mannen trodde på vad Jesus sade och gick. 51När han ännu var på väg hem möttes han av sina tjänare, som talade om för honom att pojken levde. 52Han frågade då vid vilken tid på dagen han hade blivit bättre, och de svarade: »I går vid sjunde timmen lämnade febern honom.« 53Då förstod fadern att det hade hänt just när Jesus sade till honom: »Din son lever«, och han kom till tro liksom alla i hans hus. 54Detta var det andra tecknet, och Jesus gjorde det när han hade kommit från Judeen till Galileen.

Helsingforspolisen Marko Fors säger att man försöker ingripa innan nivåerna närmar sig de i Sverige: – Vi har haft allvarliga våldsbrott i gatugängen men hittills har det inte skett ett enda mord kopplat till gatugängen. I Stockholm beräknas 16 procent av ungdomar ha tillhörighet eller nära umgänge till den typen av kriminell organisation, i Helsingfors är motsvarande andel tio procent.

Remember the holy souls in purgatory are silent sufferers with unheard voices that beg and implore our help, because they know that we are their only resource. We alone are their deliverers, for we alone can suffer with merit and release them. They suffer day and night 24/7, 365 days a year, without any relief. They are stretching out their hands to get our attention and forever crying out to us the living with tear filled eyes, "Have mercy on us, for we are lonely and poor.” We must honor the memory of the dead and plead their cause by offering up our prayers and suffrages for them while we have been given this amazing grace and while we still have time left. What more could we ask for..and the joy we will receive is the thought of knowing that we were able to deliver them to their eternal home through our masses offered, prayers, sacrifices and good works...so let us not waste time....but pray every moment we get for their deliverance.... ------------------ Lord God Almighty, I pray thee, by the precious blood which thy Divine Son Jesus shed in His cruel scourging, deliver the souls in purgatory and especially those souls whose sentences are severe because of their grave faults which caused others to go astray due to their bad influence and deceitful ways. Grant them mercy, pardon and complete remission of their accumulated temporal debt, release them from their suffering and vouchsafe to bring them to thy glory there to praise and bless thee forever. Let their souls rejoice in Thy light, and impute not to them their former iniquities, which they committed through the violence of passion, or the corrupt habits of their fallen nature. For, although they have sinned, yet they always firmly believed in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and before they died, they reconciled themselves to Thee by true contrition and the Sacraments of Thy Church. Come to their assistance, all ye Saints of God gain for them deliverance from their place of punishment, meet them, all ye Angels, receive these holy souls, and present them before God the most High. PDF fil Den 7 april 2024, söndag Andra Påsksöndagen Inledning: Vi församlas till firandet av den heliga Eukaristin i påskens glädje. Död och begraven har Kristus uppstått från de döda. Han lever och för vår talan inför Fadern. Dagens söndag närvarandegör denna glädje på ett alldeles särskilt sätt. Den gudomliga barmhärtigheten flödar över oss genom Jesu öppnade sida, som han visar för den tvivlande Tomas. Samtidigt är Jesu sår också tecknen på priset för vår återlösning. Låt oss be att vetskapen om Guds oändliga barmhärtighets överflödande nåd skall tända kärlekens eld i våra hjärtan och uppväcka en uppriktig ånger över våra synder. Låt oss be Gud om förlåtelse för alla våra synder, för att vi på ett värdigt skall kunna delta i firandet av denna heliga eukaristi. Ty detta är kärleken till Gud: att vi håller hans bud. Hans bud är inte tunga, eftersom alla som är födda av Gud besegrar världen, och detta är den seger som har besegrat världen: vår tro. Vem kan besegra världen utom den som tror att Jesus är Guds son? Han är den som kom genom vatten och blod, Jesus Kristus. Inte bara med vattnet utan med både vattnet och blodet. Och Anden är den som vittnar, ty Anden är sanningen. Så lyder Herrens ord. Halleluja Joh 20:29 Saliga de som inte har sett men ändå tror, säger Herren. Evangelium Joh 20:19-31 (Jesus visar sig på åttonde dagen. Tomas tvivlaren) Läsning ur det heliga evangeliet enligt Johannes. På kvällen den första dagen i veckan satt lärjungarna bakom reglade dörrar av rädsla för judarna. Då kom Jesus och stod mitt ibland dem och sade till dem: »Frid åt er alla.« Sedan visade han dem sina händer och sin sida. Lärjungarna blev glada när de såg Herren. Jesus sade till dem igen: »Frid åt er alla. Som Fadern har sänt mig sänder jag er.« Sedan andades han på dem och sade: »Ta emot helig ande. Om ni förlåter någon hans synder, så är de förlåtna, och om ni binder någon i hans synder, så är han bunden. « En av de tolv, Tomas, som kallades Tvillingen, hade inte varit med när Jesus kom. De andra lärjungarna sade nu till honom: »Vi har sett Herren«, men han sade: »Om jag inte får se spikhålen i hans händer och sticka fingret i spikhålen och sticka handen i hans sida tror jag det inte.« En vecka senare var lärjungarna samlade igen, och Tomas var med. Då kom Jesus, trots att dörrarna var reglade, och stod mitt ibland dem och sade: »Frid åt er alla.« Därefter sade han till Tomas: »Räck hit ditt finger, här är mina händer; räck ut din hand och stick den i min sida. Tvivla inte, utan tro!« Då svarade Tomas: »Min Herre och min Gud.« Jesus sade till honom: »Du tror därför att du har sett mig. Saliga de som inte har sett men ändå tror.« Också många tecken som inte har tagits med i denna bok gjorde Jesus i sina lärjungars åsyn. Men dessa har upptecknats för att ni skall tro att Jesus är Messias, Guds son, och för att ni genom att tro skall ha liv i hans namn. Så lyder Herrens evangelium. Förböner: Kristus säger: Saliga de som inte har sett men ändå tror. Med djup tro och i förtröstan till hans oändliga barmhärtighet ber vi nu till Herren vår Gud. 1. För Guds heliga kyrka, att hon liksom de första kristna, lever i fullkomlig enhet och förtröstan till Gud, ber vi till Herren: Herre, hör vår bön. 2. För kyrkans alla herdar, att de med sin egen djupa och levande tro på den Uppståndne, stärker alla som döpts i Kristus och att deras förkunnelse skall ingjuta förtröstan till Guds barmhärtighet i de troendes hjärtan, ber vi till Herren: Herre, hör vår bön. 3. För de nyligen döpta, att de under hela sitt liv förblir Gud trogna, och att de genom sina liv vittnar om Guds barmhärtighet genom att själva visa barmhärtighet, ber vi till Herren: Herre, hör vår bön. 4. För dem som hör bikt, att de med iver tjänar Guds folk genom att förmedla botens och försoningens sakrament, som är en frukt av Guds barmhärtighet, ber vi till Herren: Herre, hör vår bön. 5. Nedjelja Božjega milosrđa ČITANJA: Dj 4,32-35; Ps 118,2-4.16ab-18.22-24; 1Iv 5,1-6; Iv 20,19-31 BOJA LITURGIJSKOG RUHA: bijela IMENDANI: Ivan de la Salle, Herman, Teodor, Serapion NAPOMENA: Nedjelja Božanskog Milosrđa. Nakon što je papa Ivan Pavao II. proglasio 2. vazmenu nedjelju nedjeljom Božanskog milosrđa, Apostolska pokorničarna izdala je 29. lipnja 2002. dekret prema kojem se na spomenutu nedjelju može zadobiti potpuni, odnosno djelomični oprost. Za potpuni oprost, uz prethodnu sakramentalnu ispovijed, sv. Pričest te molitvu na nakanu Svetog Oca, potrebno je: u bilo kojoj crkvi ili oratoriju sudjelovati u pobožnosti u čast Božanskoga milosrđa pred Presvetim (izloženim ili u svetohraništu), kajući se iskreno za svoje grijehe, ili barem pred Presvetim izmoliti Vjerovanje i Očenaš, dodajući žzaziv: Isuse milosrdni, uzdam se u te! Za djelomični oprost potrebno je da vjernik upravi milosrdnom Isusu neki od pobožnih zaziva koji su od Crkve odobreni za javnu pobožnost. Prvo čitanje: Dj 4,32-35 Jedno srce i jedna duša. Čitanje Djela apostolskih U mnoštva onih što prigrliše vjeru bijaše jedno srce i jedna duša. I nijedan od njih nije svojim zvao ništa od onoga što je imao, nego im sve bijaše zajedničko. Apostoli pak velikom silom davahu svjedočanstvo o uskrsnuću Gospodina Isusa i svi uživahu veliku naklonost. Doista, nitko među njima nije oskudijevao jer koji bi god posjedovali zemljišta ili kuće, prodavali bi ih i utržak donosili i stavljali pred noge apostolima. A dijelilo se svakomu koliko je trebao. Riječ Gospodnja. Otpjevni psalam: Ps 118,2-4.16ab-18.22-24 Pripjev: Zahvaljujte Gospodinu jer je dobar, jer je vječna ljubav njegova! Neka rekne dom Izraelov: »Vječna je ljubav njegova!« Neka rekne dom Aronov: »Vječna je ljubav njegova!« Svi koji se Gospodina boje neka reknu: »Vječna je ljubav njegova!« Gospodnja se uzdignu desnica, Gospodnja se proslavi desnica! Ne, umrijeti neću, nego živjeti i kazivati djela Gospodnja. Kaznom teškom kaznio me Gospodin, ali me smrti ne preda. Kamen koji odbaciše graditelji postade kamen zaglavni. Gospodnje je to djelo: kakvo čudo u očima našim! Ovo je dan što ga učini Gospodin: kličimo i radujmo se njemu! Drugo čitanje: 1Iv 5,1-6 Što je od Boga rođeno, pobjeđuje svijet. Čitanje Prve poslanice svetoga Ivana apostola Ljubljeni: Tko god vjeruje: »Isus je Krist«, od Boga je rođen. I tko god ljubi roditelja, ljubi i rođenoga. Po ovom znamo da ljubimo djecu Božju: kad Boga ljubimo i zapovijedi njegove vršimo. Jer ljubav je Božja ovo: zapovijedi njegove čuvati. A zapovijedi njegove nisu teške. Jer sve što je od Boga rođeno, pobjeđuje svijet. I ovo je pobjeda što pobijedi svijet: vjera naša. Ta tko to pobjeđuje svijet ako ne onaj tko vjeruje da je Isus Sin Božji? On, Isus Krist, dođe kroz vodu i krv. Ne samo u vodi nego – u vodi i krvi. I Duh je koji svjedoči jer Duh je istina. Riječ Gospodnja. Evanđelje: Iv 20,19-31 Nakon osam dana dođe Isus, stane u sredinu i reče: »Mir vama!« Čitanje svetog Evanđelja po Ivanu Uvečer toga istog dana, prvog u tjednu, dok su učenici u strahu od Židova bili zatvorili vrata, dođe Isus, stane u sredinu i reče im: »Mir vama!« To rekavši, pokaza im svoje ruke i bok. I obradovaše se učenici vidjevši Gospodina. Isus im stoga ponovno reče: »Mir vama! Kao što mene posla Otac i ja šaljem vas.« To rekavši, dahne u njih i kaže im: »Primite Duha Svetoga. Kojima otpustite grijehe, otpuštaju im se; kojima zadržite, zadržani su im.« Ali Toma zvani Blizanac, jedan od dvanaestorice, ne bijaše s njima kad dođe Isus. Govorili su mu dakle drugi učenici: »Vidjeli smo Gospodina!« On im odvrati: »Ako ne vidim na njegovim rukama biljeg čavala i ne stavim svoj prst u mjesto čavala, ako ne stavim svoju ruku u njegov bok, neću vjerovati.« I nakon osam dana bijahu njegovi učenici opet unutra, a s njima i Toma. Vrata bijahu zatvorena, a Isus dođe, stade u sredinu i reče: »Mir vama!« Zatim će Tomi: »Prinesi prst ovamo i pogledaj mi ruke! My Reflection for Divine Mercy Sunday Mass Readings First Readings: Acts 4:32-35 Life in the Christian Community. Acts 4:32-35, “The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all. There was no needy person among them, for those who owned property or houses would sell them, bring the proceeds of the sale, and put them at the feet of the apostles, and they were distributed to each according to need.” Teaching us that the early Christians in obedience to Jesus’s command, Mt 19:21, “…If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven. Then come, follow Me.”, sold their possessions and laid them at the feet of the Apostles to distribute it to the poor. They lived their lives completely dependent on God for what they needed and what He wanted them to do. Jesus said, Mt 12:22-34, “…Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life and what you will eat, or about your body and what you will wear. For life is more than food and the body more than clothing. Notice the ravens: they do not sow or reap; they have neither storehouse nor barn, yet God feeds them. How much more important are you than birds! Can any of you by worrying add a moment to your life-span? If even the smallest things are beyond your control, why are you anxious about the rest? Notice how the flowers grow. They do not toil or spin. But I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of them. If God so clothes the grass in the field that grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? As for you, do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not worry anymore. All the nations of the world seek for these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek His Kingdom, and these other things will be given you besides. Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your belongings and give alms. Provide money bags for yourselves that do not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in Heaven that no thief can reach nor moth destroy. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” Put God first in your life above yourself and anyone else and let Him drive. Second Reading: 1 Jn 5:1-6 Faith is Victory over the World. 1 Jn 5:1-5, “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten by God, and everyone who loves the Father loves also the One begotten by Him. In this way we know that we love the children of God when we love God and obey His commandments. For the love of God is this, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome, for whoever is begotten by God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith. Who indeed is the victor over the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” Teaching us that all those who follow Jesus, Christians, were sent to Him by God the Father. Jesus said, Jn 6:65, “…no one can come to Me unless it is granted him by My Father.” When we love Jesus, the Son, we also love God the Father because Jesus and His Father are One. Jesus said, Jn 10:30, “The Father and I are One.” Every person that has received the Sacrament of Baptism has a portion of God’s Spirit dwelling in them, therefore when we show love of neighbor we show love of God. We can show God that we love Him more than ourselves or anyone else by obeying His commandments and commands. Jesus said, Jn 14:21, 23, “Whoever has My commandments and observes them is the one who loves Me. Whoever loves Me will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him.” When we strive to obey God’s commandments and repent and reconcile ourselves back to God when we do not, we conquer the world, Satan, who tries to keep us from getting to Heaven. 1 Jn 3:8, Whoever sins belongs to the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning.” Gospel Reading: Jn 20:19-31 Appearance to the Disciples. Jn 20:19-23, “On the evening of that first day of the week, when the doors were locked, where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so I send you.’ And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” Teaching us that when the apostles believed what was told to them by Mary Magdala, Peter and the two disciples that went to Emmaus, that they saw Jesus and He had risen from the dead, Jesus then appeared to them. Lk 24:33-36, “So they set out at once and returned to Jerusalem where they found gathered together the eleven and those with them who were saying, ‘The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon!’ Then the two recounted what had taken place on the way and how he was made known to them in the breaking of the bread. While they were still speaking about this, He stood in their midst and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.” Jesus gave them and all priests in the Catholic Church the power to forgive sins through the Holy Spirit dwelling in them. Jn 20:22-23, “…Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” Thomas. Jn 20:24-25, “Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, ‘We have seen the Lord.’ But he said to them, ‘Unless I see the mark of the nails in His hands and put my finger into the nailmarks and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” Teaching us that doubting weakens our faith and belief in God and is not pleasing to God. Jesus did not appear to Thomas the day He rose from the dead because he persisted in his unbelief in the resurrection. Jesus sent His disciples into the world to preach the Gospel to people who would not see Him; but needed to believe them in order to be saved. Mk 16:15-16, “He said to them, ‘Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Thomas failed to believe those that told him that Jesus had been resurrected, despite haven seen Jesus raise three people from the dead. Jesus told the Apostles before His death that He would be raised on the third day. Mt 17:22-23, “As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, ‘The Son of Man is to be handed over to men, and they will kill Him, and He will be raised on the third day.’ And they were overwhelmed with grief.” Jn 20:26-31, “Now a week later His disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, ‘Peace be with you.’ Then He said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here and see My hands, and bring your hand and put it into My side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe. Thomas answered and said to Him, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Jesus said to him, ‘Have you come to believe because you have seen Me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” Teaching us that Jesus waited a week to appear to Thomas because of his doubting of the resurrection. When we believe what Jesus said in the Gospels without doubting, we receive blessings for our belief and it increases our faith and belief in God. When we doubt what Jesus said in the Gospels, our faith weakens. Miracles do not happen when our faith in God is weak and when we doubt. Jas 1:6-8, “But he should ask in faith, not doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, since he is a man of two minds, unstable in all his ways.” Jn 20:30-31, “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples that are not written in this book. But these are written that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through this belief you may have life in His name.” Teaching us that to get to Heaven, you must believe Jesus is the Son of God and follow Him by obeying His commandments and commands and repent and reconcile yourself to God when you do not. Acts 4:12, “There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under Heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved.”
